Merry Happy New Year

Apparently the new year has sprung itself upon us, along with seven straight days of snow, so I figure it's time for another update. A new semester starts next week, and both myself and Josh will be in attendance, which is quite exciting. I've been doing observation hours at a local physical therapy clinic, and I really enjoy out-patient rehab more than I thought I would. Some of it has to do with the people, I love the staff members there and I plan to do one of my clinical rotations with them after this experience. I still have 20 hours of in-patient left, but that can get knocked out rather quickly. Only physics [which I haven't had since high school] and kinesiology this semester for me. As a bonus, I had a 4.0 last semester and my school apparently did not transfer my old gpa [a respectable 3.5] so I have a 4.0 cumulative for the first time ever!

Josh and I celebrated our 1st anniversary at the restaurant below us last month, and this was our 3rd Christmas together - counting in freshman year with the past two xmas's. I got a laptop for my bday, replacing good ole HAL 2000 finally. I finally have a semi-decent job at Cracker Barrel, though I'm angling to get a server position since I have tons of experience and really hate hosting...but it's money and I need monies badly so you have to do what you have to do.

Currently trying to finish up my application for the pta program, and that's life in a nutshell right now. It hit me at New Year's that if all goes well, I will be done with school next year. Unless I really decide to become a PT...but I'd like to save up and get other things done before something like happens, though since it's a three year deal I would really not like to have kids while I'm in school. Who knows.

And WHODEY! The Bengals are in the playoffs and AFC North champs! I only went to one game this year, unlike the 8 I saw last year. But it was the last home game of the year and they clinched the division title, so it was amazing. Plus I took my friend Cassie with me so she could see her very first NFL game, so that was lovely as well.

A slight bit of ranting: the local post office can not deliver our mail correctly at all. Josh paid his half of the rent today to downstairs and found out that we had over a dozen pieces of mail that were delivered there instead of to our mailbox- important pieces from school, xmas cards and more. I hate the post office with a passion because they have done this constantly since we have moved there. It's not like our mailbox is next to the restaurant's, because they are located in two separate entrances, fifty feet from another! AAAAAAHHHHHRRRGGGGHHHH.
